• Minimum 1 years of experience as a Student Visa Counselor or similar role in the education consultancy industry.
• Deep knowledge of visa processes for Australia, USA, Canada, UK, NZ, and Europe.
• Excellent communication in English and Bangla (verbal & written).
• Strong attention to detail, especially when reviewing documents and application files.
• Highly organized, proactive, and responsible.
• Proficiency in using MS Office, email platforms, and CRM tools.
• In-depth knowledge of international education systems and visa processes for the mentioned countries.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle multiple student profiles with attention to detail.
• Preferred:
• Experience with CRM platforms and online application portals.
• Prior exposure to working with education agents or migration consultancies.

Preferred Qualities:

• Passionate about helping students achieve their dreams.
• Confident public speaker — able to represent Lumins at events and seminars.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in education consultancy (preferred).
• In-depth knowledge of at least one of these destinations: UK, USA, Canada, Australia,New Zealand, Malaysia or Europe.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to counsel students and build long-term relationships.
• Patience, problem-solving ability, and teamwork to meet company targets.
• Confidence to face challenges and ability to work under pressure.
• Social media presentation skills (video, live sessions, client engagement).
• Willingness to go the extra mile to assist students in their academic journey.

Student Counselor - Australia,New Zealand, USA, Canada, Malaysia & Europe

Lumins Education and Migration is a trusted education and migration consultancy, helping students achieve their dream of studying abroad. We are seeking a smart, focused, and preferably experienced Educational Consultant who can provide genuine guidance and counseling throughout the entire process of higher education abroad.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide professional telephonic counseling to prospective students and invite them to the office for in-person sessions.

• Guide students through the entire journey – from course and university selection, application submission, documentation, SOP/CV/Cover Letter preparation, to visa application.

• Maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and local/international partners.

• Conduct visa interview preparation and mock interview sessions for students.

• Explore new opportunities and work under pressure to achieve monthly/quarterly targets.

• Present information on social media (through posts, photo/video shoots, FB Live sessions) to attract and engage students.

• Connect with clients via social media and telemarketing to build trust and convert leads.

• Assist in preparing students’ academic and visa documents as per requirements.

• Participate in education fairs, university visits, and represent Lumins Education and Migration in various events.

• Collaborate with management and complete tasks assigned in line with organizational goals.
