Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ The intern will collaborate with students, parents, teachers, and administrators to create a supportive and success-oriented environment for all students.
∎ Provide individual and small-group counseling to students on a range of issues, including academic planning, social skills development, and emotional well-being, under direct supervision.
∎ Assist in the development and delivery of classroom guidance lessons on topics such as study skills, and career exploration.
∎ Collaborate with school counselors in the implementation of the school counseling program's goals and objectives.
∎ Participate in Student Support Team meetings as appropriate and under supervision.
∎ Assist students with college and career exploration activities, including research, application processes, and financial aid awareness.
∎ Develop knowledge of and assist with crisis intervention and management protocols.
∎ Maintain accurate and confidential student records.
∎ Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders under the guidance of the supervising counselor.
∎ Engage in professional development activities and supervision meetings.
∎ Supporting students writing and drafting relevent documents.

Counselor Intern will assist credentialed school counselors in providing comprehensive counseling services to students across academic, social-emotional, and college/career domains. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in a school setting under the supervision of experienced professionals.
