Salary: BDT 30,000/month + BDT 5,000 commission per enrolled student
About the Role
Bay Migration is looking for a dedicated Student Counselor (Australia) to guide students through their Australian education journey, from course selection and career planning to application processing and documentation. This role requires strong knowledge of Australian education pathways and a student-first, detail-oriented approach.
Key Responsibilities
• Counsel students on Australian universities/institutes, courses, entry requirements, intakes, and tuition/living costs
• Assess student profiles and recommend suitable academic and career pathways, including PR roadmap guidance where applicable
• Maintain consistent communication with students from initial inquiry to completion of services
• Build, update, and manage course and institution databases
• Maintain accurate student records and progress in Agentcis CRM
• Organize, verify, and follow up on student documentation in line with internal compliance standards
• Review, edit, and finalize high-quality Statements of Purpose (SOPs)
• Prepare and submit applications accurately and on time
• Track university correspondence and keep students informed throughout the process
• Support student workshops and collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth processing
Requirements
• Strong knowledge of Australian education systems and pathways
• Experience in student counseling, education consulting, admissions, or career guidance
• Excellent communication, counseling, and relationship-building skills
• Strong writing and editing skills, particularly for SOP development
• High attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple cases
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
• Commitment to student success and professional service delivery
