Responsibilities & Context:
Provide round-the-clock nursing care to neonates in NICU.
Monitor vital signs, oxygen saturation, feeding patterns, and overall clinical status of babies.
Assist in newborn procedures (CPAP, suctioning, cannulation, feeding tube insertion, etc.).
Prepare and administer medications as per doctor's instructions.
Ensure proper operation and maintenance of NICU equipment such as incubators, warmers, ventilators, infusion pumps, etc.
Maintain accurate nursing records, charts, and reports.
Follow strict infection prevention and NICU safety protocols.
Support parents by explaining care procedures and providing emotional guidance.
Coordinate with doctors, technicians, and other nursing staff for smooth NICU operations.
Participate in duty roster (day/night shifts).
