∎ Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Accounting, Master of Commerce (MCom) in Accounting
∎ LLB/ LLM degree from an accredited law school and licensed to practice law will be an added advantage.

∎ • • Experience in tax & Vat law or related field.
∎ • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
∎ • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
∎ • Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases.
∎ • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
∎ • Have to be very fluent both in written and verbal communication in Bangla & English.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Preparing and filing various tax and Vat returns, including income tax of the company.
∎ Working in tax & Vat planning and related activities.
∎ Reviewing financial records and documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax regulations.
∎ Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders on tax-related matters.
∎ Providing legal advice and representation to company in Vat & tax-related matters.
∎ Performing internal Vat & Tax audits on regular basis.
∎ Prepare and file vat & tax returns and related documents.
∎ Develop vat & tax planning strategies and advise to the company.
∎ Represent the company in vat & tax litigation, if necessary.
∎ Maintaining financial books of accounts and statements in compliance with the regulatory requirements of the related bodies - Auditors (internal & external), NBR (Tax purpose) and VAT authorities.
∎ Job context: The ideal candidate must have over 10 years of working experience in handling and leading the Income Tax & Vat related functions of any reputed Group of Company.
