Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc or Higher degree in Mechanical/Electrical/ Marine from reputed university.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 7 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Direct supervise the operations and maintenance personnel assigned to the shift on day to day activities of the plant.
∎ Responsible for plant startup, operation, shutdown, emergency handling, troubleshooting & co-ordination with NLDC and BPDB for efficient evacuation of power as per PPA.
∎ Observe operational trends from SCADA to observe the plant performance, during shift operations if found any deficiencies take proper measures to improve the performance.
∎ Take necessary action to ensure compliance of safety, efficiency, environmental and administrative guidelines.
∎ Oversees and supervision of inside and outside Engine Room, Boiler, Turbine and other auxiliaries.
∎ To check the test report of water, lube oil and other liquid chemicals for quality assurance done by chemist.
∎ Arrange & participate in Training based on TNA(Training need assessment)
∎ To assist in daily, weekly, monthly schedule maintenance actions.
∎ Issuing work permit for maintenance work through work order and make sure Lock out-tag out is properly done.
∎ Prepare and send daily operational reports to higher management.
∎ Accountable for minimizing operational failure and maximizing plant efficiency, lower actual heat rate with minimum auxiliary consumption.
∎ Coordinate with both Electrical and Instrumentation & Mechanical maintenance team.
∎ Ensure implementation of SOPs for operation.
∎ Perform diagnostic work on electro-mechanical & electrical faults to reduce
∎ plant outages and recommend repair of equipment as may be appropriate.
∎ Checking the daily log sheet & record keeping of all plant operational activities.
∎ Supervise EPC's work, involve in commissioning and COD activities.
∎ Follow company policy, security and cost effectiveness.
∎ To perform task as assigned by operation in charge.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Minimum 3 years' experience in HFO based power plants.
∎ Experience in MAN Engine with cogeneration will get preference.
∎ Graduation from any public university will get preference.
∎ Pro-active, self-motivated, honest with leadership quality.
∎ Able to work under pressure.
∎ Good communication skills.
