Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical/ Marine Engineering from a public / private university/institute.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 4 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To operate Engine, Boiler, STG and their auxiliaries of the plant.
∎ To update operation log sheet of engine, STG, boiler and other plant auxiliaries.
∎ Responsible for monitoring of all equipment and report for any abnormalities.
∎ Assist maintenance team to perform maintenance work by isolating the system with proper lock out and tag out. Proper normalization of the system after maintenance work.
∎ Perform task as assigned by shift in charge.
∎ Monitoring fuel system, steam system, compressed air system, closed cooling water system (LT&HT), and other areas of plant to minimize the consumption.
∎ Performing schedule blow down (scum and bottom) of HP drum, LP drum, FWT (HP&LP), cooling tower pond and auxiliary boiler. Sludge and water drain from fuel tank.
∎ Performing schedule and additional soot blow of WHRB based on CBM.
∎ Monitoring & analyzing all equipment data from LOP time to time & giving feed back to the shift in-charge.
∎ Supervising the schedule lubrication of the fuel rack of engine and other movable parts of plant.
∎ Maintaining proper housekeeping of engine, STG and other auxiliary sides.
∎ To identify problems of plant equipment and conveyed to maintenance team to solve the problem.
∎ Ensure safe operation of engine, STG, WHRB/EGB and Auxiliary boiler, air compressor, HFO & LO separator, WTP, Oily water treatment unit, all type of pump and motors of the plant.
∎ Comply with all procedures and standards of operation & maintenances as well as to follow ISO standard for Environment, Quality Management and Occupational Health & Safety.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 32 years
∎ At least 3 year(s) for B.Sc Engineer and At least 4 year(s) for Diploma Engineer.
∎ Minimum 1 year experience in HFO based power plants.
∎ Experience in MAN Engine with cogeneration will get preference.
∎ Pro-active, self-motivated, honest with leadership quality.
∎ Able to work under pressure.
∎ Good communication skills.
