Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance plans in relation to the plant.
∎ Ensure timely and effective maintenance of all Plant equipment.
∎ Train and mentor, the maintenance staff of the plant to ensure self-reliance in maintaining equipment.
∎ Execute work requests and cross-check the isolation of equipment for maintenance, ensuring adherence to safety practices.
∎ Supervise and implement modifications to auxiliary systems to enhance operational efficiency.
∎ Uphold plant safety guidelines and procedures, actively working towards maintaining an injury-free environment.
∎ Ensure compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements in all maintenance activities.
∎ Train and develop maintenance skills in team members to enhance overall competency; and
∎ Allocate resources effectively to ensure the timely completion of maintenance tasks.
