Responsibilities & Context
Position: Service Engineer
Company: Ixony Engineering Ltd.
Job Location: Dhaka (Project sites as required)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Experience: 2–3 Years (Relevant experience preferred)
Job Responsibilities
· VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) installation, parameter setting, programming and commissioning.
· Electrical control panel and power panel wiring, termination and troubleshooting.
· Installation, testing and commissioning of electrical and electromechanical equipment.
· Troubleshooting of VFD, actuators, sensors and other industrial equipment.
· Identification and rectification of electrical and control circuit faults.
· Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, wiring diagrams and control schematics.
· Conducting preventive maintenance and servicing of electrical equipment.
· Providing technical support at project sites and preparing service reports.
Educational Requirements
· Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Electromechanical Engineering.
· BSc in Electrical & Electronic/ Mechanical Engineering candidates may also apply.
Required Skills
· Practical experience in VFD commissioning and troubleshooting.
· Hands-on experience in electrical panel wiring and termination.
· Good knowledge of electrical control circuits, motors and motor control systems.
· Ability to use a multimeter, clamp meter and other electrical testing instruments.
· Ability to independently identify and troubleshoot electrical and electromechanical faults.
· Knowledge of PLC and automation systems will be an added advantage.
· Willingness to travel to project sites when required.
