∎ We are looking to recruit a Senior Research Associate for the School.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct a desk-based review of selected projects on nutrition education (NE) and social and behavior change
∎ communication (SBCC) and synthesize the findings as assigned by the principal investigator/co-investigator
∎ Develop data collection methods and research tools for mixed method study (qualitative and quantitative)
∎ Develop research proposal and prepare IRB protocol
∎ Conduct qualitative interviews with programme personnel, service providers and experts working for health,
∎ nutrition and nutrition sensitive-agriculture
∎ Analyze qualitative and quantitative data
∎ Drafting the reports emerged from the findings
∎ Participate in meetings and seminars as and when necessary
∎ Coordinate other tasks as and when necessary for the successful completion of the research project
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 3 years of work experience in managing large research projects
∎ Prior experience of analyzing qualitative and quantitative data
∎ At least 1 publication in peer reviewed journal
∎ Must have strong analytical skills and writing ability
∎ Experience of coding qualitative data using Atlas-Ti or N Vivo
∎ Proficiency in the use of statistical software such as SPSS, STATA for analyzing quantitative data
∎ Ability to manage research team working in the field and in office
∎ Willingness to work late hours to meet urgent deadlines
∎ Ability to set priorities, follow-through, and ensure deadlines are met
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
∎ Interact with faculty and students to anticipate needs, understand/interpret requests, and complete projects
