Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Taking full ownership of the product life cycle, from ideation to launch and beyond, across multiple complex products
∎ Working closely with engineers, designers and leadership to ideate & deliver products that advance the 10 Minute School mission
∎ Advocating for the end-user in all product decisions, ensuring that learner needs and feedback are central to the product development process
∎ Being responsible for a product tracking and creating the PRDs, release plans, etc to align stakeholders and ensure timely delivery
∎ Effectively communicating product progress, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders, ensuring alignment across all levels of 10 Minute School
∎ Working with engineers, BI analysts and senior leadership to turn our vision into a strategy and roadmap every quarter
∎ Researching and staying ahead of new and upcoming technology/trends in the edtech space
∎ Providing mentorship and guidance to other product managers and cross-functional team members
∎ Scaling successful products and features across the organization, ensuring they deliver maximum value to learners and the business
∎ At least 4-5 years of experience managing digital consumer products
∎ Experience with educational/content products or with technical products or platforms
∎ Built products by collaborating across engineering, operations, analytics, marketing, design and other key stakeholders
∎ Strong written and verbal communication skills with a precise talent for articulating customer challenges
∎ Approached product management from a user’s vantage point and is motivated by the chance to improve the lives of customers
∎ Experience managing technical software products from kick-off to release
∎ A whatever-it-takes approach to ensure that your product and team are successful
∎ The ability to turn incomplete, conflicting, or ambiguous inputs into solid action plans
∎ Not only shipped new products, but is obsessed about continuous product improvement
∎ At 10 Minute School, product development is an extremely collaborative effort between engineering, design, analytics, and customer-facing teams. The Product Manager is a position that showcases passion about understanding customer needs and taking the initiative to improve the user experience. The Product Manager will get to work with designers and engineers to build delightful features that span various parts of the system, as well as work with 10 Minute School's business, sales, and operations teams to understand and solve the users’ pain points.
