Job Context:
∎ JOB PURPOSE: Ensure vehicle repair and maintenance properly on time and provide technical Guidance to Mechanics of BRAC motor vehicle workshop.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES:
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme`s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Receive defects from drivers of BRAC and its sister concern.
∎ Prioritize of Defect Form to execute the job.
∎ Diagnosis of actual problem in the vehicle.
∎ Prepare job card against Defect Report.
∎ Distribution of repairing jobs among mechanics.
∎ Lead the technical team in efficient manner.
∎ Prepare requirement of spares/materials for necessary repair/maintenance.
∎ Analyze repair cost and provide decision to the mechanics on diagnose vehicles.
∎ Quality control of vehicle after completion of repair job.
∎ Ensure proper documentation and actual billing of service.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Mechanic and driver management skills.
∎ Computer literacy, different types of software operation skills for corporate office.
∎ Sound knowledge on repair & maintenance of different model vehicles.
∎ Sound knowledge on problem diagnosis and quality control of vehicles.
∎ Sound knowledge on all kinds of spare parts and lubricants used for automobiles of different brand and models.
∎ Team work
∎ Dealing with complex environment ability to solve them
∎ Accountability: Holds self-accountable for making decisions, managing resources efficiently
∎ Working to high pressure and tight deadlines while at the same time.
