The ideal candidates should have:

• MBBS/ equivalent degree recognized by BMDC

• Candidates having FCPS-I (Medicine), MRCP-1/2 (Medicine), MCPS (Medicine) and DEM will be preferred

• 03 - 05 years of experience in Medicine & Cardiology

• Excellent communication skills (Oral & Written) and teamwork (working ability in the multi-disciplinary team).

• IT savvy and professional skills in MS Office.

We are looking for a Junior Consultant/SMO for Medicine & Cardiology Department to join our team of medical professionals. S/he will work with patients to provide treatment and ensure fitness for ophthalmic surgeries. S/he will perform various tests, make diagnoses, provide ophthalmic treatment plans and options, and work with other physicians and surgeons to treat patients’ heart and/or cardiovascular disorders.

 To be successful as a cardiologist, s/he will need to make important decisions regarding his/her patients' care and be emotionally resilient in challenging medical situations. The ability to work and collaborate with Anesthesiologists in the operation theater, when necessary, and with other Surgeons in a complex and diverse environment is also necessary.

Major Responsibilities:

• Consulting with patients to understand their symptoms and health concerns.

• Identify the cardiac diseases and other systemic diseases regarding patients’ fitness for ophthalmic surgeries through the appropriate tests, diagnoses, etc.

• Interpreting cardiac test results to determine the suitability for ophthalmic surgeries.

• Provide appropriate advice in taking cardiac care in line with the appropriateness of ophthalmic treatment and surgeries.

• Have excellent knowledge and skills in diagnosing and managing diseases in general medicine.

• Classifying and managing diabetes and endocrine disorders

• Identifying kidney diseases and urological problems

• Skills in diagnosing and managing communicable and non-communicable diseases

• Training and providing educational support to junior staff, when necessary.

• Performing any other departmental tasks as and when necessary by the management.
