Experience:

• 3 to 5 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO

• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)

• MBBS from a recognized Medical College with BMDC registration.

• Candidates with DO/DCO or training in Ophthalmology will be given preference.

• 3 to 5 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO

• Minimum 3 to 5 year(s) of working experience in a hospital setting (Ophthalmology experience preferred).

Job Context: Assistance for Blind Children (ABC) is a national NGO working since 1978 with the motto, ‘A future for every blind child, give sight back to those who can recover it and dignity to those who cannot’. ABC is a non-profit making organization and is registered as a non-government organization with the Department of Social Services and NGO Affairs Bureau of the Government of Bangladesh. ABC has been working for Awareness building, Blindness Prevention, Treatment, Education, Training & Socio-economic rehabilitation of visually impaired children and youth since its inception for the development of blind children & youth in Bangladesh. ABC has been running two eye hospitals for a long time. One eye hospital at Salna, Gazipur. ABC is looking for 3 Senior Medical Officers for this Hospital.

Job Location: Salna, Gazipur.

Job Description / Responsibilities:

• Provide primary eye care services, outdoor patient consultations, and manage emergency cases.

• Assist Consultants in surgical procedures and perform minor clinical procedures.

• Supervise the nursing and technical staff to ensure quality patient care and hospital discipline.

• Perform other related duties assigned by ABC Management.

Salary Range:

• Negotiable.
