Job Context:
∎ JOB PURPOSE: Supervising & monitoring construction projects effectively by directing the project engineering team to ensure on time successful completion of the project within budget, ensuring expected quality by maintain safety.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme`s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare the project proposal including surveying the site, costing and report etc.
∎ Define project objectives including the scope, timeline, budget, and quality requirements and to create a realistic and achievable project schedule that outlines the timeline for each project phase, including planning, design, procurement, construction and closeout
∎ Identify project risks and guide the project team to develop and implement the risk mitigation process to reduce the impact of potential risks on the project
∎ Guide the team to develop a detail costing of the project that includes all project costs, including labor, materials, equipment etc. and verify the costing and confirm the budget is realistic and aligned with the project objectives
∎ Identify the resources required for the project, including personnel, equipment, and materials
∎ Develop a project communication plan that outlines how stakeholders will be informed about project progress, issues and changes
∎ Using project management software or tools to keep the project on schedule and budget and that any issues are resolved promptly
∎ Provide training to all project team members to introduce new process and system, to guide the team members properly and to enhance the technical knowledge of the site engineers to ensure the effectiveness and functionality
∎ Define the roles required for the construction project team, including project engineers, contractors, and other team members and ensure that each role is aligned with the project requirements
∎ Select the team members who are the best fit for the project requirements and team dynamics. Ensure that each team member is committed to the project and has the necessary resources to complete their role
∎ Clearly define the roles and responsibilities for each team member based on their skills, expertise and experience
∎ Develop a schedule for site inspections and the visit regularly for each construction project and create a checklist of items to review during the site inspections
∎ Document findings from each site inspection, including any issues or concerns identified
∎ Follow up on corrective actions taken to address any issues identified during site inspections
∎ Set project milestones that correspond to specific phases of the construction project. and analyze project data to identify any potential issues or areas for improvement
∎ Develop a quality plan for the project, including a set of quality standards that will guide the project from start to finish and monitor quality control process of the construction work to ensure that it meets the required standards
∎ Guide and coordinate with the Project Engineers to develop a detailed budget plan that includes all the project costs, including materials, labor, equipment, and other expenses
∎ Regularly monitor the budget to ensure that the project is on track.
∎ Schedule Regular Meetings with the project team and the management to discuss the progress of the project, identify any issues or challenges, and ensure that everyone is on the same page
∎ Use Communication tools such as email, instant messaging, or project management software, to provide updates, share documents and files, and answer questions from the team
∎ Review the design brief to ensure that the drawings are aligned with the project requirements, including scope, budget, timeline, and quality requirements
∎ Review the drawings for accuracy, including dimensions, materials, and construction details and ensure that the drawings are feasible and can be constructed as designed
∎ Establish a document control system that outlines the procedures for managing project documents, including document numbering, version control, and document distribution.
∎ Guide the Project engineers to prepare the bills on the basis of actual work done, check and verify the measurements and dispose the invoice for payment and ensure the proper formalities and accuracy
∎ Conduct final review of the project to ensure that all deliverables have been completed appropriately and evaluate the project outcomes against the established goals and objectives
∎ In coordination with the project team, prepare the final project closure report.

∎ Good creative skills, Judgment and Decision-Making capabilities
∎ Government set rules & regulations of Rajuk, BNBC & city corporation regarding civil construction
∎ Materials, methods and the tools involved in the construction work
∎ Management (money, materials & labor) of resources in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique and coordination between people and resources
∎ AutoCAD operation
∎ Able to operate Microsoft office tools such as word, power point, excel etc.
∎ Able to operate management software like MS Project
∎ Minimum 10 years of experience in relevant field.
