Job Responsibilities:
∎ Should be responsible for planning and effecting preventive maintenance schedules various machines and instruments to increase operational machine up time am equipment reliability.
∎ Work with Drafting Maintenance, Production, vendors and engineering consultants as needed develop design concepts, specifications and cost data for engineering projects relating equipment and facility additions, alterations and improvements. Insure that sound, economic engineering practices are followed
∎ Planning of Maintenance - Various activities related to planning to get maximum production with optimum efficiency ie reduce breakdowns in Production time, Daily checks, Preventive Maintenance, Lubricating the Machines.
∎ Work with Procurement in developing specifications, evaluating potential suppliers and negotiating contracts for the supply of materials, equipment and services Inspect purchased material upon receipt or in the vendor's facility prior to shipment, to insure that specifications are being met
∎ Proactively identifying areas of obstruction/ breakdowns and take steps to rectify the
∎ equipment's through application of troubleshooting tools.
∎ Ensuring all machines are working well by conducting timely checks.
∎ Candidates from Steel industry background are preferable.
