Job Context:
∎ Jakson International Limited (JIL) is the Bangladesh unit of Jakson Group. It is the authorized country distributor of Cummins Diesel & Gas Gensets. It is also the exclusive partner for Cummins Marine Engines and Gensets in Bangladesh. In addition, it is the country distributor for Hyster Material Handling Equipment and Valvoline lubricants.
∎ JIL is looking for a dynamic and energetic candidate for its Service team who will be responsible for providing timely & effective service solutions for Cummins engines anywhere in Bangladesh.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organizational standards.
∎ Perform hands-on troubleshooting, servicing, or repairing of machines.
∎ Provide after-sale service and ensure customer satisfaction by implementing necessary corrective actions.
∎ Provide high-level technical support to external customers at their location.
∎ Provide the necessary training to the customers to use the installed equipment.
∎ Develop Service technical documentation.
∎ Attend field service calls and deal with customer queries professionally.
∎ Solve the issues arising from the field service visits by working with field application scientists.
∎ Overhaul engine with proper diagnosis and complete within estimated time with proper resolution.
∎ Send requirements for parts or lube oil to the concerned people to be sent to customers for service work.
∎ Communicate with the customer from time-to-time to understand their requirements and timely solutions.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Smart, energetic and willful to travel anywhere.
∎ Positive work ethics and result-oriented for assigned responsibilities.
∎ Self-driven to work under pressure and self-motivated.
∎ Ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships and team-building throughout the organization and outside of organization.
∎ The incumbent should have at least 3 years of work experience in generator/engine troubleshooting, maintenance, and overhauling.
