Additional Requirements:

• Age At least 26 years

• Must have knowledge of regulatory norms such as Bangladesh Fire Service & Civil Defense (BFSCD);
• Must have knowledge on provisions in the related field like Bangladesh National Building Code (BNBC);
• Excellent communication skills in English (Written/ Verbal);
• Must have knowledge on computer applications of AutoCAD;

Responsibilities & Context:

1. Ensure the functionality of the Fire Detection and Fire Protection Systems.

2. Oversee maintenance and servicing of the Fire Detection and Fire Protection Systems, including fire all equipment.

3. Coordinate with the EPM team for fire safety work and obtain price quotations from suppliers.

4. Follow up and coordinate with the SCD team to ensure material compliance and timely delivery.

5. Coordinate with the factory team and EPM to prepare the budget and approve the note sheet.

6. Follow up and coordinate with the EPM team to ensure timely task completion.

7. Negotiate with suppliers on price and other matters.

8. Ensure that Fire, Electrical, and Structural CAP updates are sent to RSC and brands.

9. Coordinate with the EPM team and suppliers to prepare drawings and documentation for submission to the RSC.

10. Organize meetings with the RSC on Fire, Electrical, and Structural CAP to address remediation issues.

11. Prepare fire-related documentation, and coordinate with suppliers, the EPM, and factory teams for RSC, Better Work, and brand follow-ups, as well as T&C assessments.

12. Conduct the annual internal fire safety assessment in our factories.

13. Follow up with the RSC for CAP updates, meetings, and RSC assessments.

14. Coordinate with the factory compliance team for fire drills, fire training, and fire safety plan.

15. Coordinate with the Fire Service and Civil Defense teams to conduct timely fire drills and training.

16. Follow up to suppliers and the Fire Service and Civil Defense team to conduct periodic inspections for the fire safety plan and secure effective certification.
