Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in information science & library management from a reputed university, along with PGD in Computer Science (preferably with advanced training in Library Automation, Web Development, or Digital Libraries).

Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in library systems, IT system administration, or digital library services.

Hands-on experience with Library Management Systems (preferably Koha).

Working knowledge of Institutional Repository platforms (DSpace or similar).

Experience managing and maintaining content management systems (Drupal or similar).

Experience in Linux server administration, databases, backups, and system security.

Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

High level of professionalism, integrity, and data confidentiality.

Manage and maintain the Koha Library Management System.

Oversee the Institutional Repository (DSpace), including metadata and workflows.

Maintain and develop the Library Website (Drupal).

Administer physical and virtual servers ensuring system uptime and security.

Manage system backups, data recovery, and disaster preparedness.

Ensure proper documentation of systems and procedures.

Coordinate with IT Department and external vendors.

Provide technical guidance and support to library staff.

Ensure secure and uninterrupted library IT services supporting teaching, learning, and research.
