Job Responsibilities:
∎ Start your duty by time card pressing and change your uniform in locker area.
∎ Before 15 min you arrives your duty place and report to your supervisor.
∎ Attend morning briefing and take time sheet with all important messages.
∎ Prepare your trolley & caddy box with cleaning equipment, chemicals, linen & supplies.
∎ Check & clean corridor floor, stairs, wall, astray, furniture, glasses & balconies.
∎ Check & clean floor pantry room all essential stores items have available.
∎ Check your floor all rooms for guest laundry and make a maid report & timely handover to your supervisor.
∎ Check & clean arrival room and vacant room.
∎ Check & clean priority basis c/o room if have arrival by supervisor instruction.
∎ Check & clean first time make up signage guest room.
∎ Occupied room clean must be finished before 03:00 pm.
∎ DND room must be given DND check paper in room and report to F/O by DND check List paper.
∎ Time sheet must be full filling with in & out time when room clean.
∎ Check maintenance and report to supervisor when start your room cleaning procedures.
∎ Maintain hotel standards and the “one and only way” cleaning procedures.
∎ Maintains personal hygiene and grooming.
∎ Makes bed with hotel standard.
∎ Re-stocking drinks in the min-bar when room clean.
∎ Replacing stocks of guest supplies such as soap, shampoo and bath gel etc.
∎ Respect for guests privacy, polite and helpful manner when dealing with guests.
∎ Reliability and honesty will be having a room attendant.
∎ Responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of his work area.
∎ Responsible for the hotel property in the work area.
∎ Authorized to enter into Rooms for maintenance or other activities like pest control, shampooing of carpet, scrubs and polishes floors.etc.
∎ Attends to guest calls, guest request and guest complaints in the area assigned to him.
∎ Make sure doors are securely locked at all times for guest safety.
∎ Report any suspicious noises or activity to Housekeeping office.
∎ You must know rules and procedures for reporting incidents and security concerns.
∎ Watch out for fire hazards or other potential dangers in the rooms you service.
∎ Check all room facilities and its condition and report any damage, lost and found if any to supervisor.
∎ Report missing items to Housekeeping office immediately.
∎ Prepare any extra bed, baby cot or other guest requirement as soon as possible.
∎ Responsible for pantry cleanliness, linen stock, rubbish, empty bottle equipment and supplies.
∎ Keep clean and dry all equipment and storage at proper place.
∎ In addition, other duties as may be required as directed by your Supervisor.
∎ Time to time check & clean your all area on duty time.
∎ Before duty finished check & clean your corridor, pantry, trolley and cleaning equipment & machineries.
∎ Report and fill in room attendant work sheet and hand over all the rest of work which is not complete yet to the next shift before closing a shift.
