Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Radiology and Imaging
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Supervise radiology unit at place, operate and functionalize all X-ray equipment.
∎ Ensure consistent high quality X-ray image through checking and correcting technical quality of the images
∎ Provide X-ray related counseling and quality customer service in radiology unit
∎ Prepare, update and preserve all relevant patient records/ information's/ digital copy for all clients at the X-ray unit
∎ Carry out routine follow up and notify any need for maintenance in coordination with the management unit and the effective functioning of CR unit
∎ Coordinate with radiologist or relevant medical staff to finalise X-ray report and deliver to the patient
∎ Prepare monthly/quarterly report of consumables in radiology unit and timely place orders of the necessary purchases in time
∎ Coordination and liaison for programme implementation with Govt. staff
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience in laboratory/clinic/medical institutes will be an added advantage
∎ Knowledge and experience with working in the field and medical emergency department (casualty)
∎ Knowledge of rules and regulation of ionizing radiation or X-Rays
∎ Microsoft office (MS Word, Excel Power point etc).
∎ Enable to handle/ report CR unit of X Ray unit.
∎ Reporting skill
∎ Communication and Coordination with other stakeholders
