∎ Relevant certifications, such as RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) or CIOB (Chartered Institute of Building), are an advantage.·
∎ Familiarity with standard forms of contract and construction laws, including FIDIC, JCT, or NEC contracts.

∎ Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
∎ Relevant certifications, such as RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) or CIOB (Chartered Institute of Building), are an advantage.
∎ Familiarity with standard forms of contract and construction laws, including FIDIC, JCT, or NEC contracts.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Cost Estimation and Budgeting: Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects, taking into account material, labor, equipment, and overhead costs.
∎ Bill of Quantities (BOQ) Preparation: Develop, review, and manage the BOQ for the project, ensuring accuracy in quantity calculations and adherence to project specifications.
∎ Tender and Contract Documentation: Assist in preparing tender documentation and evaluating tender submissions. Support contract formation, negotiation, and management with subcontractors and suppliers.
∎ Cost Control and Monitoring: Continuously monitor project costs, compare actual costs with budgeted figures, and report deviations to management. Advise on potential cost-saving measures.
∎ Responsible for measurement book preparation and approval from Clients & Consultants.
∎ IPC preparation.
∎ Details estimation.
∎ Responsible for all construction materials estimates and closely work with procurement for order placing, GRN and payments.
∎ Preservation of all documents in safe custody.
∎ Site Measurements and Verification: Conduct site visits for measurement verification, quantity calculations, and on-site inspections to validate project progress against planned work.
∎ Reporting and Documentation: Prepare regular financial reports, cost summaries, and project status updates for management review. Maintain organized records of all financial and quantity-related documents.
∎ Final Account Preparation: Assist in preparing final accounts upon project completion, ensuring all project costs are reconciled and accounted for in line with contractual agreements.
