Major Responsibilities

1. Will be responsible for handling all aspects of planned publicity campaigns and PR activities, including graphic designing and organizing university events.
2. Other tasks include:
3. Must be computer literate and be a member of a recognized professional administration or management body;
4. Planning publicity strategies and campaigns;
5. Writing and producing presentations and press releases;
6. Graphic designing when required;
7. Dealing with enquiries from the public, the press, and related organizations;
8. Organizing and attending promotional events such open days, exhibitions, departmental programs, etc;
9. Providing clients with information about new promotional opportunities and current PR campaigns progress;
10. Analyzing media coverage;
11. Commissioning or undertaking relevant market research;
12. Liaison with clients, managerial and journalist staff members.
