Job Responsibilities:
∎ #Responsibility as Project Engineer:
∎ Carry out day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of any subcontractors.
∎ Check plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
∎ Ensure that all materials used and works performed are in accordance with the drawings and specifications.
∎ Prepare reports as required
∎ #Responsibility as safety officer:
∎ Continuous inspection of site, to ensure a hazard-free environment.
∎ Assessment and approval of subcontractor safety plans.
∎ Promote safe practices on site.
∎ Conduct investigations in case of accidents.
∎ Prepare a construction health and safety plan.
∎ Attend project planning meetings and collaborating with construction managers.
∎ Continuous monitoring of all safety related documents, reports and issues to keep them updated.
