Job Responsibilities:
∎ Since 2010, the Scaling Up Nutrition Movement has inspired a new way of working collaboratively to end malnutrition, in all its forms. The SUN Business Network (SBN) was established in 2013 to mobilize business at a global and national level, in SUN Countries, to support the SUN Movement. National SBNs work with national businesses to advance nutrition through improved work force practices or the provision of nutritious goods and services.
∎ This role will support the scaling up of the national network in Bangladesh by developing the tools available to engage business in nutrition. The SBN Programme Associate for Bangladesh will help the Bangladesh SBN team to increase its business reach and impact by scaling up the number of business members and in promoting the agreed components of the national SBN action plan. Key duties include:
∎ Supporting the Bangladesh SBN team to develop and strengthen, through advocacy, stakeholder engagement and the identification of fundraising and business opportunities, as well as through the engagement of WFP
∎ Establishing a national SBN support and coordination mechanism
∎ Supporting in the endorsement and review of the SBN Strategy and operationalizing the strategy based on consultation with relevant stakeholders
∎ Ensuring relevant tools are available and utilized appropriately through guides, workshops and field visits
∎ Ensuring business nutrition indicators and performance management framework is shared among the national SBNs
∎ Managing a small fund for national activities to facilitate to business and national nutrition targets.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Candidates will have relevant experience in the private sector or in multi-stakeholder development partnership in Bangladesh involving business, with proven experience in business development, partnership management, communications and/or marketing. You will possess strong analytical, administrative and communication skills, with the ability to use your initiative and work as part of a team.
∎ Candidates will also have strong project and relationship management experience and be familiar with managing a wide platform of stakeholders.
∎ This role is a local position and will require applicants to have the right to work and live in the region.

Salary:
∎ 970,191 - 1,109,995 BDT per annum (depending on experience)
