Job Context:
∎ Mahideb Jubo Somaj Kallayan Somity (MJSKS) is a NGO is looking for a qualified Program Officer (PO) under `SHOUHARDO-III Program`.
∎ Supported by: CARE Bangladesh
∎ Report to: Program Manager (PM) of SHOUHARDO III Program of MJSKS
∎ Coordination/contact with: Maintains close contact with Upazila Coordinator, APM-F&O, SO-TSR and concerned CARE Staffs, district & upazila administration and union Parishad.
∎ Working place and Condition: The position is based at the SHOUHARDO III Program office and frequently field visit (40%).

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Planning and Implementation:
∎ Assist to PM to overall effective project planning & implementation. Assist to PM to prepare Details Implementation Plan (DIP) and sharing the DIP with all concern staffs. Prepare monthly and quarterly activity plan
∎ Collect Upazila wise budgetary and non-budgetary plan and after compilation submit to PM and follow up to the Upazila Coordinator (UC) as well as respective Technical Officer (TO) Collect the activity plan from Upazila and after compilation submit to PM for each month. Prepare own work plan and collect the work plan of UC and TO-M&E and share with PM. Compile plan of Youth Life Skill training and Trade wise Vocational Training, Prepare MoU for Vocational Training by TTC, DYD or Others Resource Person and Regular Communicate with STC-Life-skill and Youth of CARE Bangladesh
∎ Provide support to UCs and TOs to ensure integration and quality implementation:
∎ Facilitate to strengthen understanding of TOs in Agriculture & Livelihoods, Health, Hygiene & Nutrition, women and girls empowerment, resilience, good governance and transitory food insecurity. Extensive field visit and monitor the progress of the field activities and provide feedback to the respective staff and share with PM accordingly. Ensure timely and quality implementation of project activities, monitor and track the achievements of overall project Purposes. Provide required support to the field staffs to perform their activities. Support to the UCs, TOs and FTs for quality implementation of any activities. Observe major field findings of TOs and CARE staffs and take necessary action to implement to recommendations. Facilitate capacity building support for the District, Upazila as well as Union Parishad bodies and Service Providers. Communication and networking with different public and private organizations and administrations. Conduct regular liaison/linkage with GO/NGO development service providers working in the relevant field. Provide support to UCs and TOs to communicate and develop functional linkage with LEBs, NBDs, CBOs, NGOs, and local administration and elites. Support to PM and UCs to ensure required support to enable the community people to build linkage with different private and public service providers. Organize and participate in the district/upazila monthly meetings and represent SHOUHARDO III Program. Coordinate with Technical Managers of CARE-SHOUHARDO III Program as well as need communicate with STC of CARE-SHOUHARDO III. Prepare Itinerary of CARE, USAID or other visitors as required and instruct to the Upazila Coordinators as well as TOs accordingly. Participate in district/upazila PACC meetings and share progress and challenges and learning. Responsible for collaboration/coordination with upazila coordinator/APM-F&O/PM. Maintain letter "In - Out" Register and drafting letter/document and share with PM
∎ Reporting and Documentation and Monitoring:
∎ Assist to UCs, TOs and others staffs to collect information and prepare success story and report writing as required timely. Prepare monthly, quarterly, Annual Result Report, event report, success story and others report as program requirement by ensuring quality and consistent data. Analysis the Detail Implementation Plan (DIP) and prepare activity plan for bi-monthly cash call and finalize the cash call seating with APM-Finance & Operation Collect Field Visit Report from UCs and after compilation share with PM and share with all concern Preserve all kinds of reporting documents as appropriate manner. Assist to all concern to find out best practices, capture the best practices and take initiative to disseminate it with all relevant stakeholders.
∎ Monitoring the program activities as per M&E system.
∎ Assist to PM to provide field findings response report with appropriate manner. Collect purpose wise best photographs, Case Study/Success Story and use them monthly, quarterly or annual report and need base publication
∎ Others:
∎ Assist to PM as well as prepare different periodical report, case study, staff performance evaluation and submission within stipulated timeline. Review, monitor activity implementation status and inform to PM Conduct critical analysis for any type of report and find out observation Visit field and identify issues related to mainly integration, progress and challenges Conduct field visit, prepare filed visit report and directly submit to PM. Job Description is always changeable. Perform any other project relevant tasks given by the supervisor/PM

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum of 8-10 years relevant working experience. This can be relaxed in case of really deserving candidates.
∎ Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Bangla. Able to write programmatic report in English. Assist to UCs, TOs and others staffs to collect information and prepare success story and report writing. Prepare monthly, quarterly, Annual Result Report, event report, success story and others report as program requirement.
∎ Clear understanding on livelihood/food security project implementation strategy and concept, Computer skills specially MS office and ability to use internet tools.
∎ Strong coordination and networking skill with Upazila level GO, NGO officials, UP and private sector actors.
∎ Experience in working with the multi-interventions program. Willing to drive motorcycle and should have valid driving license.

Salary: Tk. 35075 - 41875 (Monthly)
