∎ PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) in Computer Science.
∎ Bachelor's & Master's degree in Computer Science having CGPA of 3.50 or First Class in respective discipline from a recognized university.
∎ At least one Bachelor's, Master's or PhD degree from abroad is required.
∎ Fluency in English is required.

∎ Required Experience and Publication:
∎ (a)    Ph.D. or equivalent degree with a minimum 07 years of teaching experience in a university. Minimum 05 publications in peer reviewed journals.
∎ (b)    Candidates completing the Doctorate Degree from the USA, Canada, Australia, Malaysia, Japan, or UK will get preference.
∎ (c) Preference will be given to the candidates who have experience in carrying out the administrative responsibilities as Dean/Chairperson.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Conduct theoretical, tutorial and practical classes, prepare questions, evaluate tests & exams, marks, grade and assignment.
∎ Prepare development plans (new Dept./Programs) and promotion plans taking inputs from inside and outside the University and place them to the Management for consideration of Development Committee. Follow up their progress till approval.
∎ Implement, monitor and report result of the plans. Organize seminars, workshops, conference etc.
∎ Review course offerings and Faculty assignment for the next semester and recommend to Teacher Selection Committee.
∎ Assess new teacher requirements for the next semester and submit requisition to Teacher Selection Committee. Try to attract senior faculty from outside.
∎ Review Course Outlines if any revision is necessary, discuss with the concerned teachers.
∎ Review weekly class monitoring reports and take necessary actions.
∎ Oversee regular and make up midterm and final exams. Evaluate teaching performance of teachers in the class from time to time every semester, discuss with the Management and suggest ways to improve their teaching performance.
∎ Obtain informal feedback from the students on course teaching from time to time, discuss with the Management and suggest/take corrective actions, if necessary.
∎ Review summary report on teacher evaluation & suggestions. Write ACR of the Faculty members, Executives and Staff. Coordinate activities of the Faculty with the Registrar’s office and with other faculties.
∎ Coordinate activities among the departments in the faculty. Attend meetings of the University when invited, and call and preside over weekly/other Faculty meeting.
∎ Organize training of the Teachers. Executives and Staff of the Faculty, if necessary in collaboration with FDP. Cooperate with Career Service Office for training on Career Development and placement of graduates.
∎ Patronize the Alumni Association, Clubs & Forums of the Faculty. Identify and perform any other activity to achieve the objective of the position and effectively play the role as mentioned at the beginning of this document.
∎ Perform any other duties as and when assigned by the University.

∎ b. Role: Act as a leader for development of the Faculty for promotion of academic excellence in the Faculty and for effective coordination among departments.
