Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience progressively as a Lecturer, Assistant Professor, and Associate Professor.
A robust portfolio of original research published in peer-reviewed medical and scientific journals.
Experience setting up medical curriculum, conducting examinations, and managing cadaver dissection labs.
Advanced mastery of human gross anatomy dissection and prosection.
Ability to teach anatomy using live and virtual dissection tools.
Specialized expertise in microscopic tissue structures and complex nervous systems.
1. Teaching & Curriculum Delivery
The Anatomy professor is responsible for delivering the comprehensive anatomy curriculum to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
The professor delivers:
Large group lectures using multimedia and PowerPoint presentations
Small group teaching sessions
Practical and dissection classes
Integrated teaching sessions with other departments
2. Student Assessment & Examination Duties
A significant responsibility involves conducting and managing examinations at various levels:
Undergraduate (MBBS/BDS) examinations:
Conducting two professional examinations and six card final exams annually
Preparing question papers and checking answer scripts
Acting as examiner for university professional examinations
Postgraduate examination duties:
Serving as regular examiner for postgraduate examinations under BMU (Bangladesh Medical University)
Internal assessments:
Fixing dates for three term examinations and supplementary term final exams
Conducting term final and card final examinations
3. Departmental Leadership & Administration
When serving as Head of Department (HOD), the professor has additional administrative responsibilities :
Preparing the academic calendar
Making class routines
Maintaining monthly meetings between different subject coordinators
Finalizing the list of 1st Professional examinees
Attending meetings at the Dean's office
Discussing class topics with lecturers
Serving on various institutional committees as president or member

4. Academic Coordination
