Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Production Planning: Developing production schedules and ensuring that production targets are met efficiently.
∎ Resource Allocation: Managing and allocating resources such as manpower, materials, and equipment to ensure smooth production operations while optimizing costs.
∎ Quality Control: Implementing and maintaining quality control standards to ensure that products meet the required specifications and quality standards.
∎ Process Improvement: Continuously improving production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
∎ Health and Safety: Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations in the production environment.
∎ Team Management: Leading and managing production teams, including supervisors, operators, and support staff.
∎ Inventory Management: Monitoring inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
∎ Cost Control: Monitoring production costs and implementing cost-saving measures to optimize production budgets and improve profitability.
∎ Communication: Facilitating communication and coordination between different departments involved in the production process.
∎ Problem Solving: Identifying and resolving production issues and challenges that may arise during the production process, such as equipment breakdowns, supply chain disruptions, or quality issues.
