∎ Minimum Master or equivalent degree m any discipline including 8 years' experience in relevant field;
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Under the direction of the Team Leader and m collaboration with other members of the consultant team, the expert will support PIU in all aspects of procurement and contract management of works and goods under the Project. Specifically, the expert will:
∎ - Review the procurement plan of the Project, procurement thresholds, procurement methods, and approval requirements (prior or post) m connection with procurement of goods and services under the Project as an advisor for PIU on its application;
∎ - Support and advice PIU m preparing, monitoring, and reporting on their procurement plans for works and spare goods, and in resolving any significant problems and issues arising.
∎ - Liaise with PIU to support the contract(s), including preparation of specification and bid documents, bidding, and contract award;
∎ - Assist and provide advisory support to PIU in the preparation of bid and contract documents and evaluation process, contract award, contract management and administration, all in accordance WB procurement policy and regulations;
∎ - Advise PIU in resolving any significant issues and problems that arise in procurement contract management;
∎ - Any other tasks assigned by the Team Leader or PIU
