Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Developing and implementing purchasing strategies.
∎ Managing daily purchasing activities, supervising staff, and allocating tasks.
∎ Managing supplier relations and negotiating contracts, prices, timelines, etc.
∎ Maintaining the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation.
∎ Coordinating with inventory control to determine and manage inventory needs.
∎ Ensuring that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications.
∎ Track orders and ensure timely delivery & Review quality of purchased products
∎ Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
∎ Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses
∎ Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed & Coordinate with Store staff to ensure proper storage
∎ Collaborating with the team to develop purchasing plans and find potential vendors.
∎ Maintaining good relationships with suppliers.
∎ Staying up-to-date with the latest market and industry trends.
∎ Comparing the prices of different vendors for gaining maximum ROI.
∎ Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements
∎ Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
