Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and implement procurement policies and procedures.
∎ Identify potential suppliers and conduct market research to determine the best products and services at the best prices.
∎ Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure best value for money.
∎ Manage supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance to ensure adherence to contracts and service level agreements.
∎ Prepare and issue purchase orders and monitor delivery schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
∎ Resolve any issues or disputes with suppliers related to pricing, quality, or delivery.
∎ Conduct regular reviews of procurement processes and identify areas for improvement.
∎ Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement requirements and ensure that they are met.
∎ Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to procurement
∎ Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, including contracts, purchase orders, and invoices.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Proven experience as a procurement officer or similar role.
∎ Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
∎ Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
∎ Knowledge of procurement laws, regulations, and policies.
∎ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software.
∎ Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
∎ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
