Job Responsibilities:
∎ Job Description / Responsibilities of Pro Vice-Chancellor will be included, but not limited to:
∎ The Pro-Vice-Chancellor shall be assigned such administrative and academic duties as may be determined by the Vice-Chancellor.
∎ In absence of the Vice-Chancellor, the Pro-Vice-Chancellor shall perform the duties of Vice-Chancellor.
∎ To act as an ambassador for the university, promoting its activities in the wider community and in particular, assisting with the philanthropic activity and research projects of the university.
∎ To attend formal and informal meetings, both at the university and externally, as necessary.
∎ To undertake duties specified by the Chairman, BoT and Vice-Chancellor.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 15 years of professional experience in research and administrative work including 10 years teaching experience at a recognized university.
∎ A good number of publications in recognized journals.
∎ Demonstrable leadership qualities.
