∎ Age 35 to 60 years
∎ At least 10 years of progressive experience in academic leadership or administrative roles within the government polytechnic education sector.
∎ Strong understanding of government policies, regulations, and accreditation standards related to technical and vocational education.
∎ Proven track record of strategic planning, organizational development, and institutional management.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and team-building skills.
∎ Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in education and workforce development.
∎ Ability to effectively navigate and collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including faculty, staff, students, industry partners, and government officials.Proficiency in English and Bengali languages.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensure adherence to academic policies and curriculum standards to maintain the highest quality of education.
∎ Develop and implement benchmarks to measure institutional success and progress towards academic goals.
∎ Support teachers in maximizing their teaching potential through professional development opportunities and pedagogical support.
∎ Regularly engage with students to listen to their concerns, provide guidance, and create a conducive learning environment.
∎ Encourage, mentor, and empower student leaders and teachers to excel in their respective roles.
∎ Hold regular meetings with parents and administrators to address concerns, foster collaboration, and resolve issues effectively.
∎ Enforce discipline when necessary, ensuring fairness and consistency in disciplinary actions.
∎ Cultivate an atmosphere free of bias, discrimination, and prejudice, promoting equal opportunities for all students to achieve their maximum potential.
