Education:
    • Bachelor of Science (BSc)
    • Diploma in Engineering
  • Minimum B.Sc. in Engineering / Technical Education (preferably with overseas work or training experience)
  • Postgraduate degree or diploma in Technical Education, TVET Management, or related field preferred.

Skills Required:

Additional Requirements:
  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in technical education or expatriate training, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of BMET, NSDA, BTEB, and international labor migration systems
  • Leadership in TTCs or institutions under BMET or NGOs running migration-related training programs.
  • Experience working with foreign employers, embassies, and manpower recruiting agencies.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong understanding of overseas employment trends and labor markets.
  • Familiarity with pre-departure orientation programs and international certification standards.
  • Computer literacy and experience using MIS and digital reporting systems.
  • Excellent communication skills in Bangla and English; additional language skills are a plus


Responsibilities & Context:
  • Design and implement training programs aligned with overseas job market demands (e.g., construction, electrical, plumbing, caregiving, hospitality, etc.)

  • Ensure compliance with BMET-approved trades and standards.

  • Integrate CBT&A (Competency-Based Training and Assessment) system into curriculum delivery.

  • Oversee Pre-Departure Orientation (PDO) programs, ensuring coverage of safety, legal rights, cultural awareness, and employer expectations.

  • Facilitate language training (e.g., Arabic, Korean, Japanese, English) as required by destination countries.

  • Ensure training programs are aligned with international skill certification frameworks (e.g., RPL, NVQF).

  • Monitor quality control mechanisms for skills assessments and training delivery.

  • Collaborate with recruiting agencies, BMET, and international employers to align training with job offers and real-time labor demands.

  • Maintain active communication with embassies and foreign training/testing bodies for certifications and job categories.

  • Ensure proper enrollment, documentation, and monitoring of trainee progress.

  • Facilitate coordination for overseas job placement and track alumni for success metrics.

  • Supervise trainers, language instructors, and administrative staff.

  • Provide training and capacity development for instructors on international standards and teaching methods.

  • Ensure all programs meet requirements from BMET, BTEB, NSDA, and relevant embassies or international partners.

  • Maintain and submit accurate data, training records, and MIS reports.

  • Manage institutional finances, equipment maintenance, and infrastructure improvements.
