∎ Diploma in Medical Technology
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 1 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Should Have Knowledge about Vacutainer.
∎ Should have experience about COVID sample collection .
∎ Draws and collects blood samples according to policy.
∎ Verifies all related records.
∎ Matching patient receipt with the prescription before sample collection
∎ Maintain up to date collection protocols in SOP manuals for specimen collections
∎ Do the phlebotomy by taking aseptic precaution.
∎ Draw the blood in appropriate container in correct quantity.
∎ Labels, processes and delivers specimens for testing according to protocol.
∎ Maintains, cleans, and sterilizes equipment, instruments, and work area following safety, cleanliness, and infection control procedures.
∎ Ensures proper disposal of waste material.
∎ Acknowledgment of samples & maintain the data of the Phlebotomy.
∎ Ensure patient paperwork is filled out correctly, and necessary information is captured at time of order
∎ Looking after the overall housekeeping of the sample collection area
∎ Keeping the lab manager informed on customer feedback / complaints
∎ Maintaining confidentiality of information regarding patients.
∎ Ready Sample for processing at Lab. Maintain relationship with existing customer.
∎ Any other duties assigned by authority.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 20 to 30 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Should have experienced about COVID sample collection.
