Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc), Master of Science (MSc)
∎ Leather / Footwear / Products Engineering from any reputed University
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 4 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Knowledge of foot anatomy good understanding of 3D volumes, shapes and sense of proportions.
∎ Understanding leather process, type of leather and select right materials for right products.
∎ Measuring, cutting, and designing patterns in the material required.
∎ Interpreting design models and blueprints.
∎ Meeting with product designers to discuss the base design.
∎ Creating rough-draft templates using computer drafting software and freehand techniques.
∎ Double-checking the pattern dimensions and style.
∎ Sending the initial pattern for product development and manufacture check.
∎ Tweaking the pattern and filing the design.
∎ Making sample shoes, bags and leather small goods as per management requirements.
∎ Prepare product tech pack.
∎ Overseeing testing, including leather colour dips and footwear durability.
∎ Sourcing, selecting and buying leather, sole, heel, Accessories and trims.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 30 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ A creative eye
∎ A flair for colour, texture and patterns
∎ Knowledge of foot anatomy
∎ Good drawing ability and CAD skills
∎ Knowledge of the footwear market and its future trends
