∎ Essential 1 year of working experience related to managing mental health patients in any health care setting.
∎ After completing a Three-year paramedic diploma course after SSC or equivalent degree from any recognized institution can be applied
∎ Understanding of essential psychotropic medicine, and therapeutic communication skills.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Job Context:
∎ GK was created in 1972 with two visions. Firstly, "the fate of the poor decides the fate of the country". Secondly, the "development of the country depends on the development of women". Since 2017, Gonoshasthaya Kendra (GK) and UNHCR have entered a partnership to respond to the Rohingya crisis in Cox Bazar & Bhasanchar.
∎ Responsible for initiating emergency treatment, stabilization of patients, and ensuring adequate patient monitoring in all SCs as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and SC guidelines.
∎ Ensure all sorts of psychotropic intervention under the guidance and supervision of the MHPSS consultant and medical officer-SC.
∎ To follow the general principle of care for managing SC beneficiaries.
∎ Assist to SC staff in identifying priority health needs.
∎ Help to assist in the referral/transfer of sick beneficiaries and the safe handover of beneficiaries.
∎ Flexibility in working hours because of the emergency nature of activities. Ability to face workload and good time management.
∎ Knowledge and willingness to participate in humanitarian activities.
∎ Language requirement: Bangla and Rohingya Refugee/ Cox's Bazar preferable
∎ The employee shall respect Gonoshasthaya Kendra's & UNHCR's Conditions of Engagement Perform event setup and event clean up
∎ Maintain current availability records in the provider portal
