Educational Requirements:
∎ HSC
∎ Completing a Three-year paramedic diploma course after SSC or an equivalent degree from any recognized institution will be preferred.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Providing FP methods (Short term & Long term) to the community people after proper screening
∎ Counseling to the clients of FP methods receivers
∎ Quarterly meetings with CMC/BMC members, religious leaders, adolescents, and their parents by addressing the prevention of early marriage.
∎ Daily supply of family planning commodities through CHWs. Outreach Workers to the screened clients.
∎ Follow up with the LAPM users to identify any side effects and complications by house-to-house visits and in the FP unit.
∎ The periodic follow-up (F/U) of the method users and intensive F/U during any side effect
∎ As required management of complications and side effects (counseling and referral to clinics) for quick relief from suffering
∎ Ensure quality FP services, to regain confidence and prevent dropout through proper counseling for quick attention and remedy of complications.
∎ Weekly/need-based, field-level monitoring and supervision to identify any technical issues regarding the use of FP methods through field visits.
∎ Counseling/Information sharing of different methods on ECP and MR to increase the number of acceptance of FP method and have planned families in the community in service centers – daily.
∎ Timely placing requirement of commodities to the LO/Pharmacist.
∎ Promote postpartum FP through intensive and effective FP counseling during the immediate postpartum period.
∎ Promote LA/PM by repeated counseling
∎ Preparation of monthly report on FP and timely submission to the AHIS/Sr. HISO, Field Coordinator, and respective CM/MO/FP Office
∎ Take advice and support from the AHC and HC for any administrative issues and from CM and MO for any technical issues
∎ Any other responsibility assigned by the authority.
∎ Special Note:
∎ Carry out any additional assignment in accordance with her/ his position entrusted by the clinic Manager of GK from time to time and mutually agreed upon;
∎ Management may, at any point in time, modify this job description as it is deemed necessary in Gonoshasthaya Kendra's interests in consultation with the incumbent.
