Responsibilities & Context:
- Manage and supervise all activities within the Operating Theater.
- Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff to ensure smooth and efficient surgical procedures.
- Oversee the scheduling of surgeries and manage the allocation of resources.
- Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness, sterilization, and availability of surgical instruments and equipment.
- Train, mentor, and manage OT staff, including nurses and technicians.
- Implement and monitor quality control measures to enhance patient safety.
- Prepare and manage the OT budget, including inventory control and procurement of supplies.
- Handle any emergencies or issues that arise during surgical procedures.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
