Job Context:
∎ Coats Bangladesh Ltd., a subsidiary of Coats plc, UK., is looking for young, energetic & competent candidate for the post of Officer / Executive, Final Winding (Chattogram Plant) to join our team.
∎ Role Purpose: To supervise all technical aspects of the final winding department, ensuring that products and processes meet Coats technical specification, IE standards and desired performance levels against set KPIs.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The role will be primarily accountable for the followings:
∎ Manage day-to-day technical aspects of the final winding operations; providing expertise, encouragement whilst ensuring teamwork, aligning work processes in order to achieve high performance standards, meet established targets, objectives and employee engagement in a motivated work environment.
∎ Ensure that the work force work allocations are managed, they are trained and skilled to perform their duties in an efficient and safe manner with a view to achieving set KPIs.
∎ Manage the troubleshooting of adhoc, process and equipment related problems to ensure production levels are maintained.
∎ Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, health, quality and environmental management policies.
∎ Ensure compliance to all SOPs, IE standards through systematic audits with all none compliance actioned and raised with the departmental manager.
∎ Ensure action plans are developed in consultation with the departmental manager that are aimed at underpinning non-compliance and under performance.
∎ Encourage employees in the function to embrace change, understand and follow new processes and procedures put in place, in order to achieve the objectives of the organization.
∎ Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account 'Coats best practice', cost reduction and productivity improvement.

∎ Around 1 to 5 years of hands on experience in manufacturing
