Job Responsibilities:
∎ Knowing, promoting, implementing and following up the universal hygiene standards/ precautions, bio-hazard prevention and infection control, security rules and other protocols and procedures in the medical premises and ensuring high standards of hygiene of his/her working environment. Respecting medical secrets and confidentiality at all times.
∎ Identifying Sexually Gender Based Violence victims and referring them to the medical team so they can receive the necessary treatment. Knowing and is aware of the importance and appropriate use of the Post Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP) Kit.
∎ Ensuring patients are properly received and installed and that those with lack of autonomy are assisted, especially regarding their feeding, personal hygiene, movements and comfort.
∎ MSF Section/Context Specific Accountabilities
∎ Focus on Referral Activities KTP in collaboration with NS MAM and IS MAM:
∎ Planning activities and defining objectives for activities related to incoming and outgoing referrals for KTP Clinic.
∎ Ensuring all referral practice for KTP Clinic is in accordance with MSF standards and protocol including the most recent Referral Policy.
∎ Coordinating the team of Referral Nurses, monitoring, and in collaboration with NS MAMs evaluating their performance, ensuring compliance with all rules, safety regulations and MSF instructions.
∎ Standardizing referral practice and procedures including working documents and tools (example: daily / weekly checklists, data collection, etc.).
∎ Describing and analyzing referral activities for KTP Clinic using timely and accurate data collection and reporting.
∎ Communication/Collaboration:
∎ Ensuring inter-departmental coordination (logistics, medical, etc.) including with the referral nurse based externally (ex: Cox's Bazaar) in order to help coordinate the application of referral standards and protocols.
∎ Ensuring close communication and collaboration with NS and IS MAMs, responsible for referrals.
∎ Ensuring close communication and collaboration with ER/Transport nurse Supervisor.
∎ General:
∎ Assisting in other healthcare and emergency response activities in- and outside the clinic as requested.
∎ Ensuring the correct recording of advances, transport fees and other expenses.
∎ Ensuring a timely processing of Overview Referral Cost sheets for KTP clinic.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Desirable 2 years of previous experience in nursing and previous experience in working with an NGO.
∎ Oral and written English and Bangla essential; Chittagonian desirable.
∎ Essential computer literacy (word, excel and internet).
