Educational Requirements:
∎ MSc in Psychology (prefer Education Psychology)
∎ Professional course on student counselling will be given preference
Experience Requirements:
∎ 2 to 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Observe students comfort, happiness, safety, and relationship with peers and assess the satisfaction level of students and parents
∎ Counsel and provide support to students who have serious discipline, emotional, behavioral and learning problems
∎ Keep track of students with chronic disciplinary issues, understand their problems and needs and counsel accordingly
∎ Regularly follow up on students (individual and group cases) who are under counseling
∎ Maintain proper and detailed documentation of individual cases of disciplinary issues or students that are in counseling;
∎ Correspond with parents regularly regarding disciplinary issues, and respond to their queries, complaints and suggestions promptly and in an appropriate manner, through the office of the Head of Section
∎ Conduct professional counseling for students parents as and when necessary and follow up on these cases
∎ Conduct workshops with faculties on students psychological, learning and behavioral issues
∎ Consult with respective faculties on specific behavioral issues of the students
∎ Provide support to faculties to overcome their psychological issues which affect teaching
∎ Work closely with the Head of Section and the Discipline Committees to ensure all disciplinary procedures are followed effectively
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 40 years
∎ Experience in Student Affairs & Events will be given preference.
∎ Active participation in School events.
Salary: Negotiable
