Responsibilities & Context
MOUSUMI Eye Hospital is a sister concern of the non-profit organization MOUSUMI. It has been implementing eye care services since 2025. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Medical Officer with expertise in Ophthalmology to provide high-quality eye care services to our patients. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a compassionate bedside manner, and a commitment to excellence in patient care.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose patients and provide treatment for eye diseases in the hospital from 9 am to 5.30 pm, 6 days a week.
Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to diagnose and treat various eye conditions and diseases.
Advise surgical patients who need surgery.
Conduct routine eye examinations.
Patient diagnosis and provide treatment for eye diseases in the eye camps as per schedule.
Screen cataract and other surgical patients in the eye camps.
Work in a multidisciplinary team with other medical officers and staff.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient treatment plans.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient care. Manage OPD & Out-reach Camps.
Perform any other duties assigned by the authority from time to time.
