Strong practical knowledge of LC & Import Documentation.
Good understanding of Bangladeshi Banking and import procedure.
Knowledge of Customs, HS Code, duty/tax and clearance procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Email correspondence and commercial documents.
ERP Software knowledge must require.
Excellent communication skill in English.
Responsibilities & Context
Draft LC Checking as per Bangladesh Bank Guideline, import policy & confirm accordingly to issue bank to transmit the final LC and check LC open voucher as per bank sanction copy.
Prepare LC status and report to superior.
Gathering information about import order placed.
Import document collection and endorsement from bank.
To maintain and Handle Import L/C and Import, T.T. Documentation.
Checking PI, shipping documents for the correct HS Code & other shipment terms and well knowledge on Commercial terms.
To collect approved purchase requisition/ proforma invoice from Supply Chain Management-Import Operations.
To collect LC/TT/Import approval permission copy from concern sourcing team.
To collect LC form (Bank stipulated Form) from the Bank.
To check proforma invoice with right import description, declaration and HS code with concern related people.
To prepare LC form and respective documents need for the LC/ TT swift from bank.
To collect proper marine insurance policy and insurance cover note from insurance company for import.
To check and correct LC related shipping documentation (Regulatory requires as per LC import: Commercial invoice, Packing list, Country of Origin, Tracking challan, HBL/ Air Waybill).
To collect the shipping documents from LC issuance bank and send to the respective customs clearances team for clearing imported item.
Preparing LC costing and LC payment forecasting.
Good knowledge about BIDA/CCI&E/Trade license/ DCCI related work.
Banking related work like, bank account opening, Internet Banking, Monthly statement collection, Liabilities position.
Daily Clearing Cheque deposit to the bank.
Collection LC voucher (Opening, Acceptance, Retirement & final settlement).
Any other Job assigned by the Management.
