Educational Requirements:
∎ MBBS degree with valid BMDC registration;
∎ Any post-graduation qualification in Gynecology /Pediatrics/ USG will be an added advantage.

∎ At least 2 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ Job Duration: December 2023 to December 2024;
∎ Job Location: Ukhiya / Teknaf, Cox`s Bazar or anywhere in Bangladesh
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide primary health care services to refugee and host community following the standard
∎ Follow the basic medical rules of hygiene when performing curative health consultations;
∎ Take a proper medical history including reason for consultation, duration of the illness or complaints, main symptoms, past medical history and treatment;
∎ Diagnose and treat the diseases according to protocols in use (i.e. clinical guidelines);
∎ Check the immunization status for all EPI targeted children and refer the unvaccinated children;
∎ Ensure patient confidentiality is respected and treat all the patients with respect and dignity;
∎ Manage emergency cases according to protocols and regulation;
∎ Refer all lifesaving cases according to referral pathway including GBV, SAM and MAM Cases;
∎ Ensure that all the 6-59 months children have been screened (MUAC and edema);
∎ Support to pharmacist to prepare all the necessary requisition for drugs, materials and equipment;
∎ Provide technical support and training to paramedics/nurses/ midwives and counsellors;
∎ Collect EWARS and DHIS2 data (epidemiological data) and report as per schedule;
∎ Coordinate and coordination with relevant stakeholders for better health services in camp level;
∎ Follow the health post policies, rules, safety, environmental, and infection prevention standards;
∎ Follow the waste management rules to keep the hospital waste;
∎ Participate in provision of 24-hours, 7-days emergency service, which may require evening, night or on-
∎ call duty;

∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ 2 years of experience as a Medical Officer in any private / NGO clinic / hospital is preferable;
∎ Have a willingness to work in remote and hard to reach areas in Ukhiya / Teknaf Cox'-Bazar or anywhere in Bangladesh.
