Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)
Experience Requirements:
∎ 2 to 5 year(s)
∎ Freshers are also encouraged to apply.
Job Context:
∎ MBBS from any reputed medical college with valid BMDC registration.
∎ Sufficient knowledge of Bangladesh Factory acts for health concern & Form-28 requirements as well.
∎ At least 2-5 year(s) of experience in relevant field.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To attend indoor patients at the Occupational Health & Safety Center.
∎ To implement & provide primary health care services.
∎ Ensure overall health & safety issues of the workers and staff periodically.
∎ Medical fitness test for the new employee.
∎ Administer first aid to workers when necessary.
∎ Provide first aid to emergency patients and take necessary actions to refer them to specialized to nearby Govt. Hospitals/specialized hospitals for better management with information to the factory management.
∎ Supervise the works of Medical Assistants and nurses.
∎ Conduct seminars on hygiene, first-aid, occupational health, or any epidemic break out.
∎ Recommend sick leave for workers & staff according to the rules and regulations of the company.
∎ Maintain an accident register.
∎ Medicine maintenance, as per requirement.
∎ Prepare requisition for medicine as per demand and submit to the administration.
∎ Plan strategically to keep and maintain a good and healthy occupational environment.
∎ Conduct health-related training programs to create awareness about health and hygiene.
