Responsibilities & Context:
Assess the condition of patients arriving at the Emergency Department (Triage) and provide immediate medical care.
Administer life-saving first aid, CPR, and advanced life support as required. Stabilize critical or severely ill patients and refer them to the appropriate department or specialist.
Assist consultants/surgeons during emergency surgeries or medical procedures.
Review and interpret lab reports, X-rays, CT scans, and other diagnostic test results promptly.
Prescribe medications and ensure accuracy in drug administration.
Provide guidance and supervision to nurses, medical technologists, and other healthcare staff regarding patient treatment.
Communicate with patients’ relatives about the patient’s condition and provide necessary counseling.
Maintain accurate documentation and records related to emergency medical care and departmental activities.
Ensure compliance with hospital emergency protocols, healthcare regulations, and safety standards.
Handle patient care–related complaints or complications effectively.
Perform any other duties as assigned by senior management.
Duty Schedule: Roster-based duty: 8 hours per shift Day time but 12 hours at night shift.
