Job Context:
∎ Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international medical humanitarian organization working in more than 70 countries worldwide. We deliver emergency medical care to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, healthcare exclusion and natural or manmade disasters. MSF first worked in Bangladesh in 1992.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assisting in defining and implementing the staff health and security policies in order to ensure its overall safety (i.e. monitors both physical and mental health state of staff, promotes compliance of all related protocols and procedures and collaborates in the update of issues regarding the security context)
∎ Ensure proper pharmacy management, stocks and functionality are in place, with the support of the Asian pharma.
∎ Contribute to strength the quality of medical data, providing mentoring on data analysis to epidemiologist and medical team.
∎ Representation of MSF with MoH and other health partners at subdistrict and district level as per support need defined.
∎ In collaboration with epidemiologist close monitoring on the surveillance system and potential outbreaks disease, ensuring all SOP are implemented and respected for alert investigation process.
∎ Participate in project explorations to assess healthcare care needs when required and assist the Medco-PMR in the annual planning process
∎ Monitoring, supervising and evaluating the implementation of medical activities in the project, visiting projects according to preset schedule and participating in defining the human resources needs, materials and techniques. Assisting in the implementation of MSF protocols, (para) medical standards, the rules of hygiene and universal precautions in service.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Medical Doctor with MBBS degree and having valid medical license
∎ Clinical experience; two (02) years' experience in similar position; effective communication skills with different stakeholders: culturally and linguistically diverse persons, authorities, partner sections; and proven managerial skills.
∎ Proficiency in English and Bangla (written, spoken and understanding).
∎ Advanced computer literacy (word, excel)
∎ Desirable: Previous experience in MSF.
∎ Diplomacy and confidentiality; Good communication and interpersonal skills; Able and interested in working in a multicultural context; Active listener, calm, stress management and oriented to quality and results.

Salary:
∎ Tk. 111840 (Monthly)
∎ Two annual leave days per month worked. Medical insurance for employee and direct dependents.
