∎ Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)

∎ Age at least 28 years
∎ Thorough understanding of claims assessment operations of life insurance company.
∎ MBBS (General Practitioner) or relevant degree.
∎ Minimum 2 years experienced in Life Insurance or related industry.
∎ Should be able to train Claim Assessors on Medical terms and Critical Medical Cases.
∎ Strong interpersonal skills, approachable and ability to influence through effective communication, confidence and sincerity.
∎ Ability to deliver on-time, plan and execute effectively, manage critical situations, adapt and deliver under stress.
∎ Fluent in written and spoken versions of both English and Bengali.
∎ Computer skills: Word, Excel, Power Point.
∎ Self-motivated, independent and customer focused with excellent problem-solving skills.
∎ Well organized, able to work independently.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Provide medical inquiries / investigations for Health Insurance Claims.
∎ Provide medical advice / recommendation for Health Insurance Claims
∎ Provide training related to medical terms and Critical Medical Cases to Claims and Customer Service Executives.
∎ Provide medical claims analysis for statistical report purpose.
∎ To maintain relationship with respective clients.
∎ Processing of Cashless Requests & Health Insurance Claim Documents.
∎ Proficient with medical terms & system.
∎ Understanding of Policy terms & conditions & Various Protocols / Guidelines of Corporate Health Insurance.
∎ Understanding of Claims adjudication / Claims Processing
∎ Maintaining & Ensuring Standard Operating Procedures & Protocols
∎ Disease Wise ICD & Procedure Coding
∎ Manage volumes effectively & efficiently to maintain Turnaround time of processing cases.
∎ VIP Claims Processing and TAT Maintenance (If any)
∎ Processing Error to be maintained
∎ Identify improvement areas and propose ideas to improve operational efficiency, team morale within Claims & Customer Service Department scope of operation.
∎ Claim Case Management / Cost Management.
∎ Regular Correspondence with treating Doctors of Hospitals for any clarification.
∎ Assist Head of Clams & Customer Service in the business planning and execution for service enhancement in line with Companies strategic and business priorities.
∎ Any other tasks and responsibilities that is assigned by Management.
